HW XI

Well, I just finished unloading my car and am unpacking from a weekend in Flagstaff. There were a few mishaps, mainly, a leaky tent on my part*. Luckly I was able to move most of my gear to my car and my parents place, who live nearby the Fort Tuthill Fairgrounds. While I missed a few events and a bit of extra time with some fine folks, I think it was, all in all, a very nice break from things.

It was very cool to see Rolind be granted his Knighthood (all I have to say about that final blow is...OUCH!), as well as our own Sir Sean of The South, Sir Cosimo and Sir Walrick all recieve the Sirviente del Sol. and I only caught the last 30 minutes of the Court (of the nearly 2.5 hours of it) but we caught some very nice highlights.

Anyway, I'm going to get cleaned up and then finish getting what gear I can squared away. See you all soon, I hope!

* The leak(s) were from mildew erosion...I mentioned it on the BTY list a while back and never had the chance to take the rainfly out to a place where I could lay it flat and put lemon juice on it...It's rather hard to do since my apartment complex has a busy parking lot and lots of pretty lavarock to poke holes in such things. After a bit, the memory of it got unintentionally put on the back burner because of other life events and, well, I got a rude reawakening on Saturday's rainstorm.
